Astraios Teleport

Our Teleport Background.

Lavrion was established as the first private Teleport in Greece back in 1998, by Unitel Hellas, and named Hellas International Teleport, H.I.T. (notably,
Unitel had same co‐founder as Astraios). It started operating global teleport uplink and hosting services.

In 2008 it was handed over to KB Impuls Hellas, it was expanded and continued offering global teleport uplink and hosting services, for Video, Data, VSAT
services, with additional antennas, services and customers.

In 2024, Teleport was acquired by Astraios Corp, with 14 uplink GEO Antennas, 10 Ku‐Band & 4 C‐Band, for traditional satellite services. Operated by the
same Technical Ops team that was running the teleport for the last 20 years. With more than 80 years accumulated experience in satellite communications
and teleport operations, and higher than 99% availability.

The Teleport has more than 6,000 square meters of land with great expansion capabilities. Has more than 400 square meters of supporting buildings with
multiple available rack units in high security area. Provides access to fiber connectivity from multiple operators (Cosmote, Vodafone, GRNET ‐ or any
provider of choice), with redundant paths, to the Core Telecoms network and internet backbone. Provides reliable power connectivity, UPS and Power
generator back up and is located a few km away from Lavrion Electric Power Plant.

Sited inside LTCP, Lavrion Technology and Cultural Park of NTUA, National Technical University of Athens, an innovation startups hub incubator. LTCP is a
24/7 guarded area, host of innovation startups including the upcoming National Greek Supercomputer Daedalus.
